Halo-Halo

pinaghalo-halong topics in one post!

I'm getting lots of positive feedbacks about my latest layout for my site. Thanks guys! But I'm not yet finish with it--yet. I'm spotting lots of gramatical errors and according to my self-titled section, "Elisha," there is supposed to be a shoutboard in my homepage when there is none. Oh and the black book section is still under construction too. I still have to work on a few stuffs.

Unknown to most of you, I had my birthday last Sunday, June 26. Surprise! I'm 15 now, but I'm not sure if I want to be 15. I feel like I wasn't able to do anything important when I was 14, either for me or for others, but looking back, I see countless good deeds that I have a feeling has changed--even saved the life of some. Hmm... well I guess I'm ready to be 15 afterall.

Yesterday, I had soccer practice and it was raining cats and dogs. Wee!! It was so fun! I love playing soccer under the rain and I know I've mentioned this before on my other posts about soccer, but I still want to say it, I have improved a great deal! ^_^ I think it was my happiest soccer training yet. Not only because of the rain, my performance and reuniting again with my teammates, but also because some folks from the boys varsity also joined us. Wala lang, na-miss ko lang yung iba, kahit hindi ko sila kinakausap ever. XP

After being under the rain and playing soccer, I still went to the mid-week service at New Life. It was aircon there, but I'm still alive. No colds. No fever. Just an aching foot when someone stepped on me with her soccer shoes on. Ow!

Tomorrow we have training again and I can't wait! Wish me luck!

Btw, in regards with some of your comments on my last post, do you have any nominees for my next crush? Ang konti kasi ng cute sa mundo! As of now I have two nominees, one is super mayabang and he was my classmate when I was a freshmam so he reminds me of my firstyear life, a year I don't want to remember. The other one... aside from his looks and his height, I can't think of what else is good about him. Super tahimik=super boring. Any other suggestions?

Good to Bad

Why is it always like this? Whenever I receive good news, bad news comes along and is even much worse.

Take my old crush from New Life as an example. I was so surprised when I saw him at school. Halos lumutang ako sa kasiyahan--until I found out he was a first year. Ickle Firstie! XP

Today I received a bad news that will affect me for my entire third year life: my locker. When I found out they are going to finally give us our lockers, I was so glad. Finally! No more heavy books, aching shoulder and cramped desks. I guess you could say, it was one of my most awaited moments during the first month of school. I was even so excited to decorate my locker. I was even determined to make it better than last year. Then today, the evil hand of fate gave me something I just don't want to accept: the worst locker I had ever had. It was located at the very bottom, so I have to kneel down whenever I need to get something. So much hassle! I always get the topmost locker so I'm not used with this one. And it was even dirty inside. I think it was one of the lockers where people placed the frogs we dissected last year. Then I couldn't even hardly fit my lock! I thought, "Oh no you don't! Damn locker, you're already bad enough; I'm going to fit this lock even if it takes me the entire day!"

I'm really stuck with it. I was trying to find someone who is willing to exchange lockers then I found out that Sir Caballero would take away our lockers if he learns that I exchanged. So I'm stuck with this locker, but am I really expected to use it? No. So I'm going to share lockers with either Hanyeo or Mika or both and just use my locker to store my soccer stuffs. Hmm... not a bad idea. Whew! Problem solved! ^^

Just a quick update.

Sorry for not being online for so long--again. I blame it on technical problems.

I am section 35 (Entrep). At first I didn't like my section, but now I do. I met new friends and I like all of my teachers, well almost. My Chemistry teacher is sooo boring. She makes want to scream, "Where is Ms. Sison?!!" Ms. Sison btw, is my old science teacher from last year and she's the coolest sci. teacher I ever had. She was also the one who started the "Stargirl" nickname for me.

But my hatest teacher of all is my trigonometry teacher. No. I don't hate him because he teaches trigo. I hate him because he is just horrible. He has this weird accent and such a soft voice, I simply cannot understand him. Plus, he has this favoritism with a guy from our class.

Please don't mention to anyone about this post. Forget you even read this.

I only dislike a couple of teachers. The rest, I love. Like Sir Dayuta for example. He's my adviser and SS teacher. When we were discussing about our course outline, he made SS look so exciting with interesting discussions and debates. Now that's what I love about a teacher, someone who can show a certain subject in a brand new and more exciting light. Plus, we are allowed to comb our hair, eat and even use our cellphones, but only on his class. I know what you're thinking, "It's so unfair!" I know, especially since cellphones are now banned in school and being caught with one already leads to suspension.

Hm... what else have happened to me?

I was not able to attend our orientation because I woke up at 10 am, when it starts at 8. And I am still continuing my record for being late on the first day of school since I was first year.

Oh and I also discovered that my crush from New Life is now my schoolmate. I was so happy then, but my happiness bubble suddenly burst when I learned that he is a freshman. Sigh.... I hope Sol won't mind if we now both have a crush on that Daniel guy until I find a better crush.

Well, I guess that's all for now. I'm already itching to write another post about something I just discovered last night with my lovable brother and I might post it tomorrow.

So

Waah!! I missed our last summer soccer training! T_T Is this the end of the world? (OA)

I know there will still be soccer practices during school days, but I will miss some of the folks there whom I won't normally meet during after-school training. This is our last week and I wasn't able to attend a single practice from it even if I really want to. Like on Monday, I went to school but no one was there. It turned out, it was moved to Tuesday and I did not know. All I know is, we have training every M-W-F only. Wednesday was the 1st of June so maybe did not allow me to leave because she says, training is already over since it's already June. That afternoon, I YMed Faye, a fellow soccer varsity, and she said that there was still training and we would have another one on Friday (today). Today, something mysterious happened to my alarm that made me wake up at 11 am whereas soccer training ends at 10. Maybe my alarm did not ring or maybe it did and I did not hear it, but that never happened to me.

Oh well. What is done is done. At least now my old complexion is returning, but not yet completely. So there is something to be happy about, but when I remember the list of sections that are to be posted today, the dark clouds return. Now I'll have to wait for the orientation before I know what my section is. Plus, I feel like I've let down all the people who are relying on me to find out their sections.

Damn. I need some serious mood boosters, good thing I'm easy to cheer up and I know exactly what makes me happy: cute stuffs and chocolate! Check out this super cute Hello Kitty calendar and these adorable note pads! Now if you'll excuse me, I know I hid some chocolates here somewhere....
