New Layout

I've been wanting to change this blog's look for like, forever. But due to circumstances, it remains to the same. Finally, last night, I've started creting my next layout. I've already started making the graphics, which took a really long time because before I saved it, I suddenly think, "oh maybe I should've done this" or "maybe i should've added that" so I keep on remaking the same graphic a million times. Then when I was done I thought, "maybe this autumn-themed template is not a good idea." I'm too fickle-minded.

Anyway, before I started my new layout, I've searched the net for the best designed sites made by professional webdesigners and I think this is really awesome.

Card Giving Day

It's card giving today and most of my grades went up, except for two. I hate Chem and Trigo, especially Chem. That Cabaluna!

Anyways... I'm top 5 in my class! Woot! 1st and 2nd quarter, I was always top 8, and now I finally rose! The best has just begun. This really is a year of suddenlies and things will get better and better, non-stop.

I'm also the highest in PA (Practical Arts). I was almost the highest in SS, but Faith got it. We both got 93, but she was higher in points. Example, she got 93.35 and I got 93.19, but I'm not really sure what my exact grade in SS is (points included), Sir never told us.

The only reason I strive hard and pray hard to get into the Top 10 is because me and my family always celebrate and I get the honor of picking which restaurant we would eat (and ofcourse I always pick the most expensieve, hehe). It's a family thing and I love my family.

I'm not really smart and I'm not saying that because I'm not the top 1 in my class or because I don't get a perfect score on all my exams, I'm saying that because it's the truth. Last year, it would be a miracle for me to ever get into the top 10. My only goal was to pass, kahit pasang awa.

But eversince I became closer to God and formally accepted Christ in my life, things turned for the better. They didn't suddenly get better, it was gradual, but you could really see the evidence, and it keeps on getting better. Look at me, from never reached the top 10, to top 8 and now top 5. You can just guess what's next. My grades are also getting better. Although there's the occasional falling grades from one or two subjects every quarter, the rest keeps on improving.

I just have one secret--God. He's the reason for all of this. With my own strength, I'm just a lazy student, but with him I can do anything. All these achievements are all for the glory of God.

PS: I had an old post before about my 5 weird habits and I would like to add another one. This may seem gross to some of you, but when other people like their fries with ketchup or just plain salt, I like mine dipped in Vanila ice cream. ^__^

Shopaholic

We were required to go to school yesterday (Sunday) for the procession and a mass for Sto Nino. I'm sure I've mentioned it before in my earlier posts. I did not go, and went to my own church instead. Anyway, I have an excuse letter to show so they can't give me any demerits.

I also went shopping yesterday with my mom. We bought two shoes, a top and my prom dress! How does my dress look like? Secret, it's a surprise.

I bought my dress at X, it's a store beside 50th avenue and Topshop at Alabang Town Center. They recorded what school I go to, to make sure that I'm the only one at prom who has that dress. Cool, huh? I know it's still too early to shop for a dress, but my mom and I really liked it so we bought it, because someone else might buy it next time.

Our Cheering Competition

We had our batch cheering competition today and... the seniors one. :( At first I felt really bad about it, but when I reached home and told my kuya all about it, he said that it was okay because the Seniors are already graduating so the championship would just serve as a consolation prize. Well, I guess that's okay. I myself would surely miss High School when I get to 4th year, which is quite soon.

Bianca King was one of our judges. When I told kuya about this, he said that she got kicked out of our school because of failing grades. She was also his batchmate.

Since I study in a Catholic school, they celebrate this Sto. Nino thingy so our school rented some carousels and a cheap horror train-thing.

I rode on the horror thingy with Precious and Marryl. At first, there was nothing except this mask hanging on a wall. But later on, ghosts or monsters or masked men started appearing. They would even climb on the kart or train-thing, but they were always on one side. Since I brought a cartolina with me (it was our posters for our food fest tom), silly me thought that wacking the "ghosts" would be a funny idea. I did so and he wagged his finger at me as if saying, "Don't do that. That's bad." Wahahaha!!

Anyways, the entire third year batch would be having their food festival tomorrow. That means I have to go to school--on a Saturday. Aside from that, there's also a procession thing and mass for Sto Nino on Sunday at school. I'm not Catholic and we have our own mass, so I don't want to go. The problem is, our horrible prefect might give demerits, even with an excuse letter. Heck, they even gave our entire section 5 demerits because some boys messed up our attendance sheet. I'm the last girl in our class so my name is on the very bottom and all the boys's names are on top and I still got 5 demerits. Usually, this threats are empty, but a while ago I've been hearing that the demerits were true.

Btw, the funny icons are back again. I've noticed that I haven't posted any cool pics for so long now.

2. Whenever I fold a paper bill, I always fold it on the exact same way. I've been doing this for years and has become a habit.
3. I use smilies whenever I can, especially in YM. ^__^
4. I give my closest friends nicknames like Han-han, Mikapika and Preshy-chan.
5. I'm so unique-obssesed that I unconsiously hate boho and pearl earrings because everyone is wearing them. I swear it's too uso.

Away for too long

Our computer is finally completely fixed and it's better than before because it has a bigger hard drive and... I don't know what else, basta my dad said its beter than before. The bad news is, all my past files are completely wiped out so I have to start everything from scratch--including all my cool graphics, web designs, websites, mp3s and other important files. All of our cool programs like Dreamweaver, Corel and other graphic editors has been reinstalled again and fully working. I've been dying to update this blog's template since Christmas break, but our comp was still half fixed then and all our coolest programs wouldn't work too. I couldn't even use YM. I just logged in today after... 10 years?

Anyway, I'll be starting this blog's next design after our exams. I have to practice using Flash too. I guess I'll have to cancel my malling with Hanyeo after exams. It's no big deal. I've been going to ATC every single day last week.

Since I haven't blog for so long, I guess a short update is needed. Well, last Sunday I watched the Chronicles of Narnia. It's astig! Last, last week, I made a bank account at BPI. It's where I'll be getting my allowance from now on. That's one of the reasons why I keep on droppin' by at ATC; there are many ATMs there. Another reason is I always accompany friends who are going to ATC. I've been spending too much because of frequent trips to the mall. Why do I always find something to buy?

Hm... what else happened to me? Oh yeah, it was Rico Blacnco's MTV homecoming today. There was a concert, but all of my friends wanted to go home. Our dismissal time for today was 6 pm because of the concert, but Rico Blanco/Rivermaya started playing at exactly 6. I didn't even finish listening to their first song. Now I really believe that all my friends are too boring.
